Draft — this is a structural skeleton, not documentation. Most pages are empty stubs listing what they will cover. Nothing here is finished, and some of it describes parts of Baseout that are not built yet.

Presets and export

A preset is a saved combination of base, table, filters and visible fields. Once you save a preset its base and table are locked — to work on a different table you create a new preset or duplicate the current one, which arrives as an unsaved draft. Unsaved edits survive a reload as a draft rather than disappearing.

Export writes the current view out as CSV or JSON, scoped either to the open tab or to all open tabs, with an Excel-compatible option for accents and emoji.

  • Why is the table picker locked on my saved preset?
  • What is the difference between a Draft and a saved preset?
  • Are presets shared with my teammates, or only mine?
  • What exactly does “This tab” export — what I can see, or everything that matches?
  • What happens when the export is too big to produce immediately?

Only the summary above. Whether presets are per-user or shared is not decided anywhere.
