Draft — this is a structural skeleton, not documentation. Most pages are empty stubs listing what they will cover. Nothing here is finished, and some of it describes parts of Baseout that are not built yet.

Schedule and scope

A Space’s backup configuration has two halves: scope — which of the Source’s bases are included — and schedule — how often they run. Both are edited together from the Space’s backup pipeline.

This page will cover changing either one, what happens to bases you remove, and how Baseout tells you when new bases appear in Airtable that are not yet included.

  • How do I add a base to an existing backup, or drop one?
  • What happens to backups already taken for a base I remove?
  • Airtable has new bases — does Baseout add them automatically?
  • Can schema and data run on different cadences?
  • What is the limit on how many bases a Space can include?

Scope and schedule are configurable in the product today. The limits that apply to them depend on the plan model, which is not settled — see Plans and billing.
